BOMO METALS · DRAWING-BASED MANUFACTURING
Drawing-based racks, fixtures, hearth parts and support components for vacuum-furnace loading and hot-zone assembly. Define how the workpieces are supported, the available working envelope and the mating interfaces before selecting the material and construction. Measured legacy parts can provide a starting point for a replacement drawing.

A load rack, hearth fixture and internal support frame have different functions. Define the required function first: carrying workpieces, locating a load, supporting a component or maintaining an assembly position. The support-frame photograph is a fabrication reference; it does not establish a load rating for a charge rack.
Provide the part or basket footprint, distribution of mass, support points, spacing and access required for loading.
Mark contact faces, rails, posts, fixing points, locating datums and interfaces with the furnace hearth or transfer equipment.
Describe the thermal cycle, atmosphere, contact materials and intended cleaning or handling method for the fixture.
We review drawing-based components and measured legacy parts for the defined assembly. A rack enquiry should identify individual parts, joining or fixing details and the required delivered condition.
Where the existing fixture has distorted or worn, document its original function and the surfaces still suitable as dimensional references. The replacement drawing must resolve critical dimensions rather than duplicate damage.
Discuss the specified molybdenum or alloy grade, including TZM where required by the drawing. Suitability depends on load, geometry, atmosphere and temperature cycle. No general load capacity is assigned from a material name or photograph.
State whether mating fasteners, posts, rails or assembly work are included. Design approval, manufacturing and inspection scope are agreed before production.
WORKSHOP VIDEO
This workshop clip shows a circular frame with horizontal rings and vertical members. It provides a fabrication reference when discussing support geometry and assembly access.
This frame is not presented as a load-rated charge rack. Load pattern, bearing interfaces, material and thermal duty must be reviewed for the intended design.
Choose material-specific parts when the grade and individual component are already defined. For a coordinated internal assembly or a replacement project, use this hot-zone family and its dedicated pages.
Material grade, condition and compatibility with the furnace duty are confirmed for the approved design. Material melting points are not service-temperature ratings.
No. It is a fabrication reference. A charge-rack design requires the workpiece arrangement, mass distribution, bearing points, geometry, material and thermal duty to be specified.
A rack carries or locates the charge, hearth parts support the load at furnace interfaces, and a frame may support the hot-zone components themselves. Identify the actual function and load path in the enquiry.
Provide the original drawing if available, the current measured geometry, stable datums, loading arrangement and observed deformation. Identify what must fit the retained furnace or handling equipment.
Send what is available and mark what still needs review: furnace information, geometry, material, process duty, quantity, destination and the replacement scope.
